Tasks

-Drive a proactive, best-in-class Health & Safety culture and performance by developing strategies to address key risks, ensure regulatory and customer compliance, and enhance personal safety and environmental performance. -Engage with our clients, contractors and Stakeholders to ensure our projects are delivered using best global practices. -Responsible for overseeing and supporting in the improvement of Health & Safety Management systems for our Client and guiding the teams on various jobs. -Work closely with the Client and Senior Leadership team to drive the implementation of industry-leading Health & Safety management System tools, programs and initiatives, and establish action plans to achieve objectives and targets. -Business development - You will be responsible for supporting the other sector leads and pushing forward business development within your discipline. Your role will include liaison with new and potential clients; both internal and external to WSP. -Project Manager for projects within your discipline nationally. This includes selecting a suitably qualified team for the project, supporting with proposal development, review (for quality and technical) and issue and also project direction throughout the lifecycle of the project including monthly financial reviews with the Project Director. -People Management - You will have line management responsibilities as well as mentoring and supporting team members to help progress their careers. -Promote a positive and best in class health, safety and wellbeing culture. -Oversee the operations on the various Health & Safety Advisory related projects in Middle East, identify opportunities to improve and help to expand our services across The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. -Commercial – Tracking and reviewing the commercial performance for your discipline to ensure that KPI’s are met. -Support in the development of fee proposals and the delivery of strategies for Clients, including a clear focus on the aims and objective of our clients. -Lead and oversee the development, review, implementation, and overall governance of Health & Safety Management Systems, including policies, procedures, training, audits, and reporting requirements.

What You Bring

-Ideally, hold an internal/external auditing qualification, ISO 45001, 14001, or 9001. -A minimum of 15 years’ experience in the field Health & Safety. -A BSc / MSc or equivalent qualification. -Ideally, hold an IEMA, NEBOSH Environmental Diploma qualification or equivalent.
