Lead Electrical Engineer overseeing design, procurement, and coordination for data center projects.

Tasks
-Visiting sites for residual engineering / resolving site queries. -Participate in discussions with the client, as necessary. -Detail Engineering include preparation of Load list and load balancing in case of power failure at one source to maintain redundancy. -Coordination with various stake holders like Client / various internal disciplines like projects / Piping / mechanical / architect / civil / vendors for effective engineering management. -Attend Design Engineering Management Review Meetings. -Review of vendor drawings, review of electrical content for mechanical packages -Procurement activity for Electrical items covering preparation of enquiry specification, review of technical offer and preparation of TR, preparation of order specifications. -Timely completion of designs, requisitions and engineering deliverables. -Should be able to prepare Basis of Design for Data Center, Master Plan, Concept, Schematics. -Ensure that site issues viz. Technical Queries, Non-conformity Notices are dealt effectively and expeditiously; and also ensure competent staff are available for site trouble shooting as necessary. -Working within company manhours and budgets. -Monitor work and progress in compliance with the project requirements and schedule. -Preparation of SLD, Power distribution, Equipment Layout as per NBC/CEIG/Electricity Rule, Cable tray / Earthing layout. -Guiding a team of designers in 2D / 3D electrical engineering, review of 3D model and review of layouts and MTOs extracted from the model. -Preparation of design calculations for sizing the major electrical equipment. Familiar with ETAP calculations – for Load flow, Short-circuit, Harmonic study, Arc flash study. -Meet client expectations and maintain long-term relationship with client. Attend to client’s feedback and any complaints -Leading the entire Electrical Engineering activities to carry out Electrical design work based on standard company procedure / other procedures, methods outlined

What You Bring
-Adherence to Dept./Discipline Working Instructions and Quality Systems. -Should have fair understanding on Telecommunications Industry Association TIA-942-B Standard for Data Centers. -Should be able to do cost estimation of Electrical Package. -Should be able to do Lightning protection calculation.
