Tasks

-Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies. -Review, analyze, and interpret Contract Documents (RFP, specifications, etc.). -Performing site visits and investigations as needed. -Participate in Task Force Meetings, brainstorms, and working sessions with estimators and engineers/designers. -Coordinate with estimators and engineers/designers to provide constructability input and value engineering for preliminary project plans. -Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required. -Identify, quantify, and communicate Risk throughout the estimating process. -Perform all tasks related to quantity takeoff and pricing of design-build projects in the infrastructure market.

-Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment -Effective oral and written communication skills -Must be able to meet deadlines -Work productively and meet deadlines timely -Good attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies -Bachelor's or Master's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related degree preferred -GPA above 3.0 preferred -Possess strong mathematical and computer skills -Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office products (e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) -Regular, reliable attendance -Strong interpersonal and organizational skills -Must be willing to travel as the job requires -Work independently as well as part of a team -0-2 years’ experience in estimating -Candidates must possess a strong work ethic
