Tasks

-The Project Operations Manager is a team leader working in partnership with the Project Director or Manager, leading in the development of the project team, the project safety culture, and is a champion of the CSB programme and Subsea 7 Values. This includes continuous conveyance of the safety leadership message to every team member in designing safety into equipment, procedures, and operations plans. -The Project Operations Manager plays a key role in teambuilding and encourages the full participation of the team in all developmental endeavours. -All personnel are expected to contribute to creating a positive HSEQ culture within Subsea 7 and ensure familiarity with and adherence to local HSEQ codes and practices. -The Project Operations Manager oversees the preparation and execution of the project operations. -The Project Operations Manager leads the logistics and interfaces with the OMT of each vessel to carry out the project scope of work in the field in accordance with planning and specifications.

What You Bring

-Technical skills(including IT) : Candidates should be computer literate and familiar with Microsoft office (inclusive of Microsoft Project).Being familiar with the engineering processes used within Subsea 7.Have a solid understanding of the offshore, subsea construction business -Core leadership behaviors of :Set a clear example in terms of personal conduct and adherence to HSE rules and guidance. Ability to develop others potential. Encouraging production of new ideas. Encouraging a culture of transparency by acting consistently with integrity. Ability to isolate core issues within complex problems and able to move easily between the big picture and the detail. Ability to be insightful in identifying the needs of customers. Ability to set performance goals, allocate responsibility, link achievement to reward and actively monitoring progress and provide supportive feedback. Other leadership behaviors of networking, managing change and developing a clear vision for the organization or department. -Education/Qualifications: It is preferable for candidate to be degree qualified in Engineering but demonstrable experience (10 years in subsea construction) will also be considered. It is preferable that candidates can demonstrate commitment to Continuing Professional Development. -Interpersonal skills : Sound communication skills, oral, written and electronic (in English). Ability to coach, mentor and motivate the S7 team during operations. Lead by example. Foster a problem solving mentality focused on delivering fit for purpose solutions and ‘get the job done’. Self-Management - Ability to prioritize own and others' workload, manage time and change control accordingly and direct team members where constraints will affect a project in terms of program or budget. Ability to manage interfaces within and outside the operation department -Experience : It is essential that candidates must have proven Subsea Project execution Experience working to a similar level (Experience in at least 2 of the following specialties is a must : rigid pipelay ; surf construction; diving ; mooring and Management of relevant HSEQ activities).
