Execute black-box and white-box manual testing of embedded firmware for gas metering devices
Drive the transition from manual test procedures to automated test frameworks using Python and scripting tools
Analyze and interpret C/C++ embedded code to support white-box test development
Monitor signal behavior and identify root causes of firmware bugs and anomalies
Collaborate with firmware developers to validate functionality and resolve issues
Document test plans, results, and defect reports in compliance with engineering standards
Operate test equipment and microcontroller development environments to simulate real-world conditions
Use of test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.) for black-box validation

Hands-on experience with black-box and white-box testing methodologies
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
(Associate degree with programming certification will also be considered)
Familiarity with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and firmware validation
Proficiency in Embedded C and C++ for firmware analysis and test development
Working knowledge of Linux environments and scripting for test automation
