Tasks

-Responsible for project management (start-up to evaluation) for assigned geophysical projects with support of the Land Geophysics Operations Manager – USA and Project Management Office. -Supports sales management (lead to tender) related to the USA Geophysics group with support of Commercial Director and Land Geophysics Operations Manager – USA with primary emphasis on the Critical Minerals industry (secondary emphasis on the infrastructure industry). -The acquisition, processing, interpretation and reporting of geophysical data and deliverables including client liaison on a project basis. -Responsible for collection of project receivables on managed projects past the due date. -Stay abreast of current professional practices, periodicals, and technological advancements. -Involved in relevant innovation processes related to the Critical Minerals industry. -Supports bid/no-bids and project setup definitions for projects jointly in accordance with Fugro authorization matrix and with support of Commercial Director and Land Geophysics Operations Manager – USA. -They will provide technical input and review for proposals and tenders and will make recommendations for optimization and/or supplementary investigations where appropriate. -Supporting roll-outs/product implementations defined by Global and Regional Business Lines. -Promotes recent Fugro innovative developments including screening activities within Fugro’s GroundIQ® framework. -Involved in key account planning for the Critical Minerals industry (and supporting the infrastructure industry), selection of accounts, account managers (CRM) assignment and account plan development, execution, and review. -The role will require planning and supervision of project geophysical operations comprising both Fugro and external personnel. Project responsibilities will also include data QC and deliverables review as appropriate to their area of expertise.

What You Bring

-Experience with Critical Minerals and infrastructure projects in the greater Rockies region is required. -General knowledge of sales, pricing, and negotiating. -Minimum of 8+ years of relative geophysical experience within the critical minerals/mining sector and/or infrastructure industry, post-graduate experience required. -Travel requirements are up to 50% for this job opportunity. -Registered Professional Geophysicist is preferred. -Effective client relationship management with a dedicated client base and the proven ability to produce annual revenue. -Able to negotiate technical, commercial, legal, ethical, and sometimes abstract concepts and communicate effectively and positively with internal and external stakeholders at operational, management, and executive decision-making levels and statutory authorities. -Minimum of 3 years in a managerial or leadership role is preferred. -Possess a valid passport and current driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record. -Authorized to work in the United States, without restrictions. -Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication skills including a comprehensive understanding of writing for engineering documents and related legal terminology. Ability to competently and professionally present project materials in client meetings including identifying and mitigating client concerns. -Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Geophysics is required, Master’s degree or higher is preferred. -Proven leadership experience regarding business development and business improvement processes is required. -They will be familiar with and comfortable operating a wide range of geophysical survey equipment and plant. The role may be part of a collaborative project team or may comprise leading projects of medium to high complexity.
