Tasks
-Development of operational standards / playbooks / operating manuals for all aspects of the business -Actively participate within a community or practice group by sharing information and strategies that result in the best outcomes for the client and Cushman & Wakefield -Supports peers and collaborates across departments, sharing knowledge and skills to empower the team. -Manage service contracts, AMCs, and vendor performance. Verify service quality, approve work completion, and ensure timely renewals. -Leads by example in taking initiative and championing projects that address market trends and client needs. -Fosters opportunities for team members to seek clarity, learn, and contribute to the department's vision. -Empower others to take charge of initiatives, ensuring a culture where entrepreneurial thinking is valued at every level. -Empowers team, delegates effectively, and provides resources for autonomy and growth. -Leverages new knowledge to propose solutions that enhance outcomes for clients and colleagues. -Leads change effectively by translating it into actionable steps for the team and addressing uncertainties head-on. -Encourages team members to take the initiative, fostering a climate where proactive problem-solving is rewarded. -Monitor and optimize consumption of electricity, water, and other utilities. -Proficiency in facility management software and MS Office tools. -Proactively identifies issues and contributes to solutions, demonstrating adaptability to evolving circumstances. -Proficient in using facility management software and maintenance tracking tools. -Occasional requirement to work extended hours during peak times or to assist with major functions/events -Excellent communication, leadership, and vendor management abilities. -Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. -Financial Acumen -Articulates and instills a clear and compelling vision of the department's future that motivates continuous improvement. -Proven track record in managing preventive and breakdown maintenance of building services (electrical systems, DG sets, water treatment plants, HVAC, lifts, fire-fighting systems, etc.). -Demonstrates agility in adjusting to changing priorities and maintains progress with a focus delivery. -Demonstrates initiative by proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and leading projects that contribute to business goals. -Communicate Effectively -Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree/B-Tech in Electrical, Mechanical (or related technical field). -3-5 Years of experience in technical operations, facilities management, or maintenance within residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments. -Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills. -Strong background in vendor management, AMC administration, and contract negotiation. -Business Writing -Attention to Detail -Demonstrates thorough consideration of diverse perspectives and feedback before finalizing tasks, ensuring collective agreement on deliverables. -Effective communicator, guiding teams through transitions with clear communication. -Familiarity with statutory compliance requirements and safety standards. -Experience in handling statutory compliance, safety protocols, and liaison with government/regulatory bodies. -Hands-on experience with budget preparation, cost control, and resource optimization. -Practices active listening, valuing others' contributions as opportunities for learning and growth. -Strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices for: -Time Management -Recognized as an internal expert, contributing thought leadership on key topics that shape the organization's future.
