Maintain and repair heavy equipment as an apprentice.

Tasks

-Lift and move objects weighing up to 25-50lbs as needed. -Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace—safety always comes first! -Ensure tools are accessible, organized, and in good working order -Regularly sit, climb, and use hand signals or equipment; occasionally stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, stoop, crouch, or reach above shoulder height. -Service and repair trucks and heavy equipment—including fueling, lubricating, greasing, and replacing filters -Troubleshoot and perform general repairs on a variety of machines -Collaborate with team members and interact professionally with all staff

What You Bring

-Experience: 1-2 years’ experience in a similar industry preferred, but we welcome candidates eager to learn and grow -Frequently required to climb, balance, and perform tasks involving physical agility. -Ability to operate and move various types of equipment (we’ll train you as you grow with us!) -Basic mechanical knowledge and a keen willingness to learn more -Excellent communication skills—a must for working efficiently and positively with others -Work primarily outdoors, often in extreme weather and environmental conditions. -Education: High school diploma or equivalent required -Comfortable working in all weather conditions; exposed to jobsite hazards such as moving machinery, high places, airborne particles, and loud environments. -Arrive on time, ready to work, and equipped with the proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) -Monitor workflow and adapt to changing priorities as needed -Organizational skills to keep your area and tasks on track -Tools: Ownership of basic hand tools and a toolbox to get the job done -Must have specific vision abilities, including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, to operate equipment safely.
