Develop and implement EHS programs for Bay Area clients.

Tasks
-Be an active team member on projects. -Help develop and implement innovative H&S programs and strategies in the areas of Injury Illness Prevention Plan (IIPP), hazard communication/chemical management, occupational health programs, safety management systems, process safety and risk management, industrial hygiene assessments, and technical support. -Support our clients desire to improve safety performance by providing training, field coaching, and targeted EHS assessments. -Build strong collaborative relationships with our clients and other ERM employees. -Process Hazard Assessments -Spend time onsite with clients throughout Silicon Valley and the Bay Area, California to help solve their most pressing H&S challenges. -Learn and grow as a safety professional through frequent internal and external training as well as exposure to interesting projects and advanced customer experiences. -Develop an understanding of how your work affects our clients’ business objectives and help them achieve these objectives. -Begin to build a network within and outside of ERM that will enable you to leverage and develop your skills and help solve challenging multi-disciplinary client challenges. -Identify and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. -Assist the world’s most innovative companies develop solutions to complex technical and regulatory issues and concerns. -Ensure quality standards on project deliverables. -Participate as an enthusiastic team member on various project teams and effectively complete assignments. -Assist with collection, review, and analysis of field data to evaluate conditions, present information, and implement effective solutions. -Build client relationships and nurture repeat business by continuously striving to exceed their expectations.

What You Bring
-Laser Safety -Chemical or Lab Safety -CSP, CIH, or similar certification/qualification. -Knowledge of California regulations and local, state and federal EHS regulations. -Ability to travel within the San Francisco Bay Area, California as well as some occasional travel outside of the local Bay Area. -Ability to work independently and in a team setting. -Strong work ethic with a passion to learn, grow, and thrive. -Bachelor in Safety, Occupational Health, Chemistry, Environmental Engineering, Engineering or related science degree. -4+ years relevant experience with exposure to the technology, pharmaceutical/biotech, manufacturing, power, chemical, and oil and gas sectors preferred. -Effectively and succinctly, communicate with clients, ERM employees, and vendors. -Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area. -Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively. -Robotics Safety. -Master degree or equivalent in Environmental, Chemical, Engineering, or a related science or engineering degree. -This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship. -Good team player, especially during challenging situations. -Electrical safety and NFPA 70E -Experience managing direct reports and/or project staff, scoping and managing project budgets and expenses highly preferred.
