At times carrying out a hands-on work on the Depot
Support Warranty and Supply Chain Departments for the critical parts claimed under warranty by liaising with main suppliers as required
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with all Australian health and safety, quality and environmental legislative requirements.
Providing technical support and advice liaising with the Headquarters in Spain and locally with direct reports.
Management of direct reports and overall responsibility for the successful management of these functions
Actively participates in promoting health and safety in the workplace and encouraging others to do the same. Take part in health and safety initiatives, such as workplace inspections, hazard identification and others as required
Compiling reports based on contractual requirements as needed
Respond to the client in everything related to warranty activities
Responsible for building and maintaining or delegation of responsibility for relationships with all stakeholders
Achieve the reliability figures and KPI-s stablished for the project
Support on procurement of critical material managed by Supply Chain Department to comply with delivery terms
Permanent contact with suppliers and other CAF departments (Management, Quality, TO, etc.)
In conjunction with the General Manager, implement and manage processes, systems and timeframes which are in line with CAF Headquarters’ policies and procedures and account for AU requirements/restrictions, both legislative and operational
Ensure all work is carried out in a safe manner in line with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality consciousness. Advise management of any changes in materials, plants or processes which may impact on safety, quality or the environment, as well as any improvements that could advance CAF's quality and environmental performance.
Ensure effective and frequent communication with CAF Headquarters. This includes updates on key milestones, delays and challenges
