The Role

Overview

Prepare tenders, manage quotations, support commercial team, and liaise with operations.

Tasks

-Attend pre-tender meetings/events -Provide tender handover packs demonstrating strategy at tender stage on all successful bids -Review unsuccessful tenders and analyse and implement an improvement strategy for future bids to ensure growth targets are met -Assist the commercial team on compensation events build-ups -Ensuring delivery and communication of a quality ‘end-to-end’ process for the customer -Assess tender/quotation conditions upon receipt and identify any risk

What You Bring

-Ability to collate and reconcile information for monthly reporting -Understanding of digital services and product deployment -Proficient in the use of a PC, Microsoft Office suite of software and the ability to work with other business management systems -Understanding and engaging with colleagues' remit/workloads for holiday cover -Attention to detail and ability to think laterally and problem solve -Right to work in the UK unsponsored -Full UK driving licence as travel is a requirement of this role -NHSS 12a,b,c or d qualifications -Prioritise workload and demonstrate customer engagement -Highways Permitting experience -Previous experience of the traffic management industry either practical TM experience or experience of working in the highway maintenance sector. -Essential to have the interpersonal skills to be able to interface successfully with a wide range of people both within and outside the company -Ability to recognise and capitalise on digital services opportunities -An ability to network and create new business relationships -Excellent geographical and numerical skills -Highly motivated individual -An ability to work within a high-performing, fast-moving team -Other formal commercial or business management qualifications
