Tasks

-Support the preparation of reports, plans and specifications for client -Support for feasibility studies and designs for energy storage and microgrids if needed -May work on field assignments such as attending local meetings, tradeshows, and client meetings as needed -Support various project tasks including regulatory requirements/review estimates, research, procurement support, etc. -Support market research, audits, quality controls, etc -Intern will work with Distributed Energy Resources and Microgrid team on projects for clients and on proposals. We perform feasibility studies; provide owners engineer services during project development, design, and implementation; provide design support; write specifications; and vet and recommend product vendors; among other services. -Perform data entry, data management, data evaluation, and data present

What You Bring

-Experience with engineering software applications (AutoCad, MathCad, ESRI, HydroCad, WaterCad, ARCView GIS, etc.) is preferred but not required -Must be at least 18 years old -Possesses solid technical and problem-solving skills -Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) -Minimum GPA of 3.0 -Self-motivated, detail orientated person -Pursuing Bachelor or Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field -Has excellent verbal and written communication skills
