Tasks
-Develop a robust professional network through social events and interactive activities; -Assist experienced survey field staff performing work on topographic and boundary surveys, route surveys, stream surveys, and construction stakeouts. -Participate in workshops to help foster interpersonal skills within the workplace and prepare students for success in their full-time careers. -Perform physical tasks such as setting stakes and monuments, clearing brush, and ladened hiking. -Collaborate closely with a mentor in your discipline to tackle real-world challenges; and -Utilize surveying software applications to gather, retrieve and interpret important data, and perform fundamental survey computations.

What You Bring
Applicants must be legally authorized to work for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in the U.S. without sponsorship. -Current enrollment in an Associates or Bachelors in Survey program, or related field of study preferred; -Learn to collect survey data and search for boundary evidence while working in a variety of terrain and outdoor conditions. -Acquire practical experience applying knowledge from college courses, learn from industry experts, and collaborate with teams across functional groups and locations; -Prior internship and/or survey expereince a plus; -Valid Driver's License. -Possession of sufficient physical stamina to work outdoors under various field conditions;
