Overview
Assemble door units, follow SOPs, ensure quality, and handle materials.

Tasks
-Palletize, wrap, and label units as needed -Assembles fabricated parts to relatively large or heavy subassemblies and complete units -Verify materials being used is correct by reading the bill of materials -May involve some repetitive motions - bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling of parts and part containers -Follow all operational and safety SOP’s as written -Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job -Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications -Ensure materials meet quality expectations -Repeats tasks until entire door stack is complete -Cleans up work area when shift ends -Maintain a safe and clean work environment -Verifies that components are being placed in the correct position per SOP

What You Bring
-Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. -Due to the open environment of the facility, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity, and cold -Read and understand bill of materials -Required to stand and work for 8-10 hours per day -Solid verbal and written communication skills -Efficient with multiple manual machines and pneumatic equipment such as Nail Gun, Screw Gun, Router, Tape Measure, Square -1-2 Years in the field or related area -Must demonstrate solid teamwork abilities -Ability to organize and maintain detailed records -Strong analytical skills & Knowledge of all door components -Preferred High School Diploma or equivalent preferred not required -Regular attendance and timeliness is an essential function of the job in order to avoid having any disruptions in production and customer service -Must be able to read a tape measure to 1/32 inch and have basic math skills -Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to multi-task -Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment -Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
