Tasks
-Liaise with the customer and commercial/sales teams to ensure deliverables are clearly identified and understood. -Responsible for making day-to-day decisions regarding project execution and customer site operations. -Delivery of projects on time and within budgeted cost. -Facilitation of proactive and reactive technical support. -Ensure commercial coverage (Purchase order/contract) is in place for ongoing works, and work to realize additional works where possible. -Feedback loops are completed within 30 days of engine dispatch. -Translation of contractual requirements into technical instructions. -Provide technical and commercial training to all Project Engineers. -Provide finance with instruction to invoice on completion of works. -Support the Project Engineering Manager and act as deputy department head in their absence. -Contribute to the continual improvement of the Company’s QHSE Management System. -Ensure ERP system is kept up to date with all project information. -Conduct global customer site visits. -Compile quotations for customers under contract for minor repairs and overhauls, in collaboration with the commercial and sales teams. -Monitor project costs and report expected cost overruns in a timely manner. -Co-operate with department managers and QHSE with investigation of any non-conformances relating to Projects and Field Service. -Act as the sole responsible person for all customer communication and commercials post-handover, and in the event of a contract being a long-term agreement, for its duration. -Responsible to ensure all variations to the original scope of work have been quoted for and commercial coverage is in place prior to completion (unless otherwise agreed with Sulzer Management). -Support the development of Company standard documentation. -Instructions to invoice are issued to finance on completion of works or in accordance with the contract in a timely manner. -Compile comprehensive progress and technical reports. -Comply with and adhere to the Company’s quality, health & safety and environmental policies and procedures. -Lead and perform customer complaint NCR’s, including RCA’s and implementation of resulting preventative actions. -Develop, update, and monitor project plans to ensure smooth workflow through the workshop. -Conduct scheduled reviews with customers of contract KPI’s. -Compile quotations for additional works identified through inspection. -Participate in internal/external audit programmes. -Hosting customers and the provision of corporate entertainment. -Liaising with the Production Manager to ensure timely attendance of a qualified technician to resolve equipment issues. -Accountable for the timely and accurate reporting of project progress and any issues that arise. -Comprehensive weekly status reports shared with customers for all ongoing projects. -Monitoring and agreeing scope changes with the customer. -Prompt and effective email communication with customers. -Act as a point of escalation for all technical and commercial subjects from the Project Engineers and support staff.

What You Bring
-Ability to interpret engineering drawings. -Working knowledge of industrial gas turbines and/or power turbines and associated equipment. -5 years’ experience within the rotating equipment MRO industry. -Technical knowledge of Rolls Royce gas turbine equipment in Companies core offering. -Good written and verbal communication (English). -Ability to prioritize work. -Formal Project Management certification (PMP, CAPM, etc). -Ability to work away from home, maintaining effective communication with Head Office. -Previous experience in a similar role. -Strong organizational skills. -Practical knowledge of gas turbine site environment onshore and offshore. -Adaptable approach, able to work independently, and function effectively as part of a team. -Bachelor’s degree in engineering and/or technical apprenticeship. -Understanding of industry standard PM principles and terminology. -Strong team player capable of working across various departments and with external stakeholders.
