2 + years experience in heavy civil, mining, construction or a related area with good working knowledge of general engineering applications and construction practices
Ability to travel overnight as needed on an infrequent basis
Attention to detail with an emphasis on time management and organizational skills
Strong computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office products, civil estimating software (preferably HCSS), and scheduling software (preferably Primavera P6).
Ability and willingness to visit sites (mines and tunnels) within an underground environment
Ability to perform a variety of tasks and manage those tasks concurrently within firm timelines
Ability to function effectively within a team atmosphere
A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management is required
Effective written communication, verbal communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to read and understand construction documents including contracts, specifications, and drawings
Previous experience with field engineering, estimating, project scheduling, and technical writing required
