Overview

Design and deliver transportation infrastructure projects using CAD tools.

Tasks

-Mentoring junior engineers and technologists as needed -Contributing to reports, drawings, and other engineering documents -Preparing designs for municipal road reconstructions, water/sewer systems, site grading, and stormwater management -Providing engineering and technical expertise on multi-disciplinary projects -Communicating with clients, consultants, and contractors under supervision -Participating in studies, assessments, modeling, preliminary and detailed design using AutoCAD/Civil 3D and Bentley MicroStation InRoads/OpenRoads. -Prepare tender and contract documents, including specifications, quantities, and construction estimates. -Collaborating with project teams to meet deadlines and budgets -Supporting proposals preparation

What You Bring

-Understanding of highway geometric design principles, grading, and drainage. -Familiarity with municipal and provincial transportation design standards -3-7 years of experience in municipal/transportation design engineering, with some consulting experience would be an asset -Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology from an accredited institution -Strong analytical and problem solving skills -Ability to work effectively in a team environment
