Principal DevSecOps Engineer (Remote - United States)

Overview

Design, implement, and secure IaC and release pipelines for ETQ's cloud services.

Tasks

-Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and continuous delivery. -Automate and streamline deployment processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention. -Conduct security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities in the infrastructure and applications. -Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues to ensure high availability and performance. -Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable infrastructure solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. -Manage the release process, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating releases to ensure smooth and efficient deployments. -Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in DevSecOps, IaC, and Release Management. -Collaborate with development and operations to integrate security best practices into the DevOps pipelines.

What You Bring

-Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. -Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. -Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. -Experience with release management and deployment automation. -Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. -Strong communication and collaboration skills. -7+ years experience or 5+ years with Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. -Certification in DevOps, Security, or Cloud technologies. -Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI. -Proven experience as a Senior level DevSecOps Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role. -Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. -Understanding of security best practices and experience with security tools and frameworks.
