Tasks

-Act with a high attention to detail to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction. -Perform all job functions in accordance with the company's Safety Standards. -Complete necessary documentation for customer shipments delivered via third-party carrier. -Inform immediate supervisor of stock depletions, count discrepancies, or damaged/defective/nonsaleable merchandise that could impact customer service levels. -Successfully complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned. -Handle all shipping discrepancies per procedures or forward appropriate paperwork to designated employee to handle. -Assist co-workers in servicing customers. -Load and unload trucks, operate warehouse forklift and other material handling equipment safely. -Be responsible for counting, verifying, and receiving incoming vendor shipments and customer return material. -Stock and maintain the warehouse; and pick, document, and pack customer orders in accordance with Company policy and procedure. -Identify nonstock, special-order material, and damaged material and store in proper warehouse locations. -Ensure security and controls are in place and upheld to protect Profit Center assets. -Maintain warehouse cleanliness, order, and safety. Remove empty cartons, metal bands, pallets, and other debris. Inform immediate supervisor of safety issues.

What You Bring

-Know of, be able to apply and practice safety precautions in a warehouse and material handling environment. -Knowledge of products sold at the Profit Center preferred -Have a driving record that meets the criteria for being an Authorized Driver in accordance with Company policy -Be able to quickly develop comprehensive knowledge of products sold at the Profit Center. -Be at least 21 years old -Be able to build and maintain a positive working relationship with customers, vendors, and co-workers. -Possess a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. -Possess outstanding customer service and communication skills. -Read, write, speak, and understand English. -Be able to learn to safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment in use at the Profit Center. -Be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. -1 year warehouse receiving and material handling experience -Be able to pass a Department of Transportation physical examination before beginning work and again at least every two years while employed and performing this job function. -Be able to drive a vehicle over 10,0001 lbs. As a non-CDL driver, you must: -Be able to learn and operate the computer-related systems used for warehouse operations. -Possess a proper and valid driver's license
