Tasks

-Demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset by actively contributing to business development efforts - cultivating new client relationships for the firm and strengthening partnerships with existing clients; -Lead the design, permitting, and execution of residential, institutional, commercial centers, warehouse distribution centers, and mixed-use projects for both public and private clients; -Oversee site/civil engineering efforts from concept through completion, including site layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, erosion, and sediment control; -Collaborate with office and regional leadership to develop strategic growth plans and optimize staff utilization; -Apply integrated knowledge of land development engineering, including coordination with geotechnical and environmental disciplines; and -Provide technical leadership and oversight in stormwater management, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, SWPPP preparation;

-Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment, and to mentor project and staff engineers; -Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required; -Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences; -Proven success in client development, client management, and project delivery abilities; -Contribute to technical and proposal writing with strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and sound judgment; -Possess a valid Professional Engineer license in California; -16+ years of successful, local and related site / civil engineering experience with a concentration in land development on both small and large projects; -Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities.
