Perform pipe stress analysis, design supports, and produce reports for projects.

Tasks

-Develop and test models of alternate designs and processing methods to assess feasibility, operating condition effects, possible new applications and necessity of modification -Complete project documentation as required by the engineering quality management process -Gather, analyze, and document data concerning existing equipment and provide data comparisons -Produce Pipe Stress Analysis reports -Specify system components or direct modification of systems to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications -Responsible for completing project specific objectives on schedule and on budget -Communicate internally with other disciplines and externally with the client as necessary -Review and Check Isometrics and Pipe support designs -Conduct and participate in design reviews and various engineering related meetings -Independently evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications

What You Bring

-Strong communication and presentation skills -Minimum 5-10 years of experience with pipe stress analysis, CAESAR II, and/or Autopipe software -Minimum 10 years related experience power, petrochemical, and construction projects -Bachelor Degree in a mechanical, industrial, chemical or petroleum engineering discipline from an accredited engineering program -Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, or computer-generated reports -Proficient with Engineering and Computer Software: Caesar II, Navisworks, familiar with CADD software, Microsoft Office Suite -Willingness to travel and work in office and field environments -Comfortable working in a collaborative, transparent, teamwork-based culture -Ability to independently organize and prioritize work assignments and coordinate a variety of tasks, with good attention to detail and ability to deal with conflicting priorities and deadlines -Knowledge of pipe support design and flexibility analysis -Understanding, acceptance and adherence of company policies and procedures, including all business objectives and goals -Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills -Knowledge of ASME B31.1, ASME B31.3, and API codes -Familiarity with Pipe Specifications, Valve Specifications, and Piping Materials -Power Plant Design Experience -Licensed Professional Engineer
