Sr Sales Engineer

Overview

Drive sales of MV switchgear, generate leads, close orders in Tamil Nadu & Kerala.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Travel as and when required, to meet the client. -Prepare an budget for this Teratory by capturing (i.e. Total Available Market, Offered and Non-Offered Market). -Track you Sales / Revenue Target and work towards achieving. Getting DI and payment collection is the responsibility of a salesperson. -Should be able to generate Enquiries and close the Order. -Collect Payment from CP’S as per the agreed payment terms.

What You Bring

-Should have a high level of self-motivation and the ability to deliver results. -Good Knowledge of Computers and should know Word , Excel and Power Point and Sales tools like D365 ETC.. -Must have a two or four-wheeler. -Should be familiar with all the State Distribution Utilities Requirements. -Good Relationship with CP’s in this region and Motivate them to achieve the given targets. -Min 8+Years of Experience in Sales & Marketing -Methodical approach to work -Able to work effectively to meet agreed timescales having considered and planned the project activities. -Good problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset. -Outstanding customer service skills, with a focus on building positive relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction. -Strong communication skills and IT fluency. -Preferably working from a competitive or similar product manufacturer. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders. -Able to work independently or within a team. -Must Know most of the Electrical contractors who are working on turnkey Projects. -Should be able to meet a budge of around 400 MINR from two states (i.e. Tamil Nadu & Kerala). -Strong understanding of order management processes and best practices, including order booking, pricing, shipment tracking, and customer communication. -Excellent written and oral communication skills in English -Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty. -Ability to work in team, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. -Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical engineering. -Excellent organizational skills. -Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. -Strong analytical skills to analyze order data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to management. -Experience in sales, marketing or related field. -Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task. -Good Product Knowledge of Switchgear, MV , LV and RTU’S.. -Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills to manage multiple orders simultaneously.
