Tasks

The Innovation, Research & Development Co-ordinator will play a pivotal role in driving collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement across Taylor Woodrow’s infrastructure projects. Acting as a central link between dispersed teams, the role supports the identification, trialling, and evaluation of new ideas, ensuring successful solutions are shared, scaled, and embedded. The postholder will coordinate innovation activity across regions, champion a culture of curiosity and improvement, and manage the centralised data required for R&D tax relief. By encouraging engagement, facilitating collaboration, and enabling evidence-based decision-making, this role helps ensure innovation is not just encouraged, but expected. -Facilitate collaboration across teams to avoid duplication and maximise impact. -Promote innovation internally through Teams groups, events, and workshops. -Engage with site based project teams to identify operational challenges and explore innovative solutions. -Maintain a centralised database of R&D activities, ensuring evidence is captured and organised for tax relief purposes. -Champion a culture of innovation and act as a visible advocate for change and improvement. -Bridge gaps between site project teams, encouraging cross-functional collaboration and knowledge exchange -Liaise with leadership teams and others to support annual R&D submissions. -Track and report on innovation KPIs and measures of success. -Enable strategic decision-making by gathering feedback, analysing trial outcomes, and supporting investment cases. -Centralise and manage R&D tax relief data with accurate tracking, reporting, and submission. -Coordinate innovation efforts across projects and regions, ensuring ideas and solutions are shared and scaled. -Act as a point of contact for innovation-related queries and support. -Support the identification and implementation of innovative solutions, helping site teams trial and evaluate new approaches. -Coordinate trials and pilots across multiple sites, ensuring consistent feedback and evaluation.

What You Bring

-Experience of working on construction sites. -Experience in a cross-business or cross-region role with a wide and varied workload. -Able to encourage stakeholder engagement and build strong relationships to support innovation activity. -Experience of working with dispersed teams and delivering to deadlines. -Proficient in Microsoft 365 tools; knowledge of Power BI
