Major Project Travel Technician 2 - Power or HVAC

Overview

Install, service, and troubleshoot generators, electrical distribution and HVAC equipment.

Tasks

-Troubleshoot equipment failures both on Major Projects and in service centers. Utilize mathematical formulas to calculate both nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements. -You will be part of an elite technician team that will work on a wide range of projects from large events, to assisting Utilities customers or being part of a turnaround team in a refinery. -Maintain thorough knowledge of, practice, and promote safe working conditions in accordance with OSHA, EPA and other required regulations dealing with safe operation of all equipment. -Interface with a remote operations center to prevent failures, help design proactive notification to avoid failures and compliance -Install, commission, service and repair Aggreko generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and/or OFA systems.

What You Bring

-High school diploma/GED -Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 75 lbs. -Electrical Generating System Association technician or other various certifications are a plus but not required. -Knowledge using metering and instruments such as multi-meter’s, amp meters, and Hygrometers -Read and comprehend electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals. -4+ years' experience working on power generators, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs -Based on the customer requirements, you may be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card, valid driver’s license
