Tasks

-Approve new raw materials for use in screen and wear components -Provide Mechanical testing of wear and screen components including preparation and analysis of samples using the universal test machine -Support safe handling and storage of dangerous goods and hazardous chemicals -Develop and characterise novel wear components to support mining operations -Provide QA testing for current product lines including DSC testing of epoxy polymers and analytical testing for polyurethanes and ceramic wear components -Produce technical reports to support product development and learnings -Support production chemistry including urethane and epoxy resin formulations -Support workshop staff to meet production deadline

What You Bring

-Proven experience in a similar environment -Ability to set priorities and work to deadlines -Minimum BSc, Chemistry or Materials Science or BEng, Materials Science & Engineering -Graduate with some experience preferred -Demonstrates initiative and creative problem solving skills
