Tasks

-Direct and assist traffic analyses using current best practices with a focus on Vision Zero principles and the Safe System approach -Conduct field reviews -Assist with recruiting efforts for the Orlando office and ELEMENT Traffic Team -Perform quality control reviews -Effectively communicate and coordinate with clients and colleagues -Support marketing pursuits and business development efforts -Engage the Orlando Traffic Design Team to support retention and employee satisfaction -Train and mentor junior team members -Direct and assist the production of signing and pavement marking and signal plans in accordance with FDOT standards -Serve as the leader of the Orlando Traffic Design Team

What You Bring

-Familiarity with the current FDOT Manuals and traffic guidelines -Local agency experience is a plus -At least 5 years of post-registration experience -Professional Engineer (PE) registered in Florida -Excellent technical, written, and oral communication skills -Strong working knowledge of MicroStation and/or ORD
