Perform basic sub-assembly tasks, follow instructions, and maintain a safe production environment.

Tasks

-Two-person tasks using assistive devices for lifting, pulling and pushing including engine stands hand trucks, pallet jacks, and hoists -Push/Pull more than 40 pounds on an occasional basis with assistance -Document actions by completing production and quality forms -Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results -Assist in training new hires or current internal employees who have been newly assigned to this role. -Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials -Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations -Assist in the building of prototypes and/or other basic assembly projects outside of normal production as needed -Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements -Contribute to team effort by training others in the performance of basic assembly tasks as needed -Inspect all work and ensure it meets requirements before passing it on to the next operation -Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts, and subassemblies

What You Bring

-Must have basic computer skills -Squatting/kneeling – frequent -Lift up to 40 pounds on a frequent basis floor to waist -Must be able to read and interpret Drawings and Bills of Material -Must be able to safely use small hand and power tools -Bending/stooping – frequent -Standing – continuous -Ideally has 0-1 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment -Work is classified as Medium - Heavy Physical Demand Level (PDL) by the US Dept of Labor's Dictionary of Occupational Titles -Is willing to cross-train and develop skills for Manufacturing Associate II roles, which may involve respirator fit and clean-shaven requirements. -Must be able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English. -Lift up to 75 pounds on an occasional basis floor to waist with assistance -Lifting – frequent -Frequencies - Occasional (1-33%); Frequent (34-66%); Continuous (67-100%) -Carry up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis up to 25 feet -Has a High School diploma, GED or combination of work experience and skill development -Griping, manipulation, fingering –continuous -Variable hand/power tool use – frequent -Walking – continuous -Push/Pull up to 40 pounds on a frequent basis
