The Role

Overview

Assist the Community Manager with resident relations, admin tasks, and retention efforts.

Tasks

-Maintain awareness of the property competitors and contribute ideas to the Property Manager to improve resident retention and satisfaction -Answer and handle incoming issues from current residents always offering excellent service -Plan fun activities for residents -Oversee all aspects of the resident experience -Create a renewal program to optimize leas renewals and decrease resident turnover -Contact and follow up on renewals, new residents, and work orders -Create ideas for marketing and events and assist in successful execution of these events -May occasionally be required to lift or carry items such as files or office supplies weighing up to 15 pounds -Develop and execute strategies for optimizing online reputation and resident satisfaction surveys in accordance with goals set by Community Manager

What You Bring

-May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time -Knowledge of principals and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products of services; this includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, and sales techniques. -Skilled with computer hardware and software including, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and industry specific software -Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing -Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, planning and organization, and coordinator of people and resources. -Must be able to hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computer -Must be available for after hours for resident relations and other activities -High school diploma or equivalent; or one year of related experience -Knowledge of property operations, marketing principles and practices. -Must be able to read documents, computer screens and data -This is a hybrid role, requiring the associate to work in one of our corporate or regional offices 4 days per week -Must be able to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse and other office equipment
