Tasks

-Work closely with project, design, and commissioning teams to ensure seamless integration with mechanical and architectural packages. -Oversee and coordinate electrical subcontractors, ensuring full compliance with design, specification, and HSE standards. -Monitor and report project progress, risks, and quality to the Project Manager and senior leadership. -Work on a flagship mission-critical data centre and industrial development for a global client -Manage all testing, commissioning, and documentation for handover. -Lead and manage all electrical construction activities on-site, ensuring delivery to programme, cost, and quality targets. -Drive technical excellence, value engineering, and buildability solutions. -Promote a proactive health, safety, and environmental culture across all electrical works. -Manage installation of LV/HV systems, UPS, generator systems, BMS, fire alarms, and data infrastructure.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to join a leading main contractor delivering a major mission-critical data centre and industrial build project in Leeds. -Solid understanding of electrical building services, power distribution, critical systems, and resilience infrastructure. -Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing skills. -Strong subcontractor management and coordination skills. -Up-to-date knowledge of IET Wiring Regulations (BS7671) and relevant standards. -SMSTS, ECS/CSCS, and First Aid certification required; HV authorisation advantageous. -Qualified to HNC/HND or equivalent in Electrical or Building Services Engineering. -Proven experience as an Electrical Construction Manager on large-scale mission-critical, data centre, or advanced industrial projects.
