Tasks

-Assist with M&A due diligence, tax structuring and integration; -Administer transfer pricing, management fee and royalty arrangements; -Manage/minimize cash tax payments; -Optimize the Company’s effective tax rate; including R&D tax; -Oversee sales & use and property tax functions; -Supervise, mentor and coach professional staff; -Direct audit defense of international, federal and state income tax filings, as well as state & local sales & use tax filings; -Responsible for accounting for income taxes (ASC 740) in the US and international subsidiaries, including FIN 48 and other valuation allowance reserve -Ensure that appropriate internal controls/SOX compliance are in place over accounting for income taxes; -Manage calculations of tax attributes and other items related to foreign corporations; -Designs and directs the work of the functional area. Selects, coaches and develops the team, setting objectives that align with company strategy to inspire and motivate the team. Manages organizational talent through performance management, succession planning and development. Designs and directs processes by which team and individual performance are recognized, feedback is consistently delivered and performance is systematically improved -Evaluate and manage the impact of US Tax Reform; -Lead, develop, and implement US & International tax planning projects, including those related to legal entity reorganizations & structuring, US tax reform, operational initiatives, global operating model considerations, transfer pricing, and financing, etc.; -Manage completion of federal, state and international income tax returns, including all related analysis and support; -Liaison with management and Accounting staff on tax related issues; Work cross-functionally with all levels of management across the Company;

What You Bring

-Demonstrated hands-on approach and success in working in a cross-functional, team-based environment. -Multi-faceted experience with international tax planning, compliance and defense in a global manufacturing environment; -Minimum 15 years of related experience in a senior corporate tax role -Income tax compliance, planning and defense. -Certified Public Accountant (CPA); -Bachelor’s degree in accounting/tax; -Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley; -In-depth knowledge of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code; -Working knowledge of international tax matters; -Master’s degree / J.D. in business taxation
