Test engineer for wearables handling verification, battery, firmware, and system testing
Key Responsibilities

Tasks
● Proactively communicate risks, blockers, show stopper issues etc. and collaborate with cross functional teams to unblock. ● Plan, Collect, organize Test artifacts like, Test equipment, DUT, accessories required for conducting the test. ● Gather knowledge about new products and its features and collaborate with cross functional teams to add provisions for testing/ validation. ● Execute and provide tests, report bugs and share results, logs, analysis summary etc to stakeholders.

What You Bring
● Experience in system level testing of embedded wearable devices, android, and iOS applications. ● Understand DUT Features, requirements and identify test scenarios and develop Test procedures. ● Experience in Li-ion battery, Battery Management System, Battery cycle testing, charge/ discharge testing in different scenarios, Firmware testing, safety concepts, performance Testing etc. ● Ability to work independently under pressure and comfortable working in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment. ● Expertise in operating lab tools and equipment required for battery Testing. (Thermal chamber, various meters etc.) ● Understand consumer product’s PDP from validation perspective. ● Experience in Requirement analysis and Test plan and Test case creation, Test setup development, Manual Testing, bug reporting, test artifacts management etc. ● Proficiency in using MS office or google sheets for Recording, analyzing, presenting test data, documenting test findings, and supporting root cause analysis. ● 2 to 6 years of experience in Wearables/ Embedded devices / Consumer electronics verification and validation. ● Proficiency in test management tools like JIRA. ● Python scripting and debugging skills and familiar with ADB for executing and maintaining automated tests and data collection.
