The Role
Overview
Plan, execute, and analyze end‑to‑end nuclear weapon delivery system tests for AFNWC.

Tasks
-Provide recommendations for technical and programmatic solutions to include the generation of ad hoc reports such as white papers and other analytical reports. -Plan and coordinate test activities, test execution, and post-test data processing and validation of joint test events. -Model different test and integration scenarios, enabling the project team to proactively address potential challenges and to formulate robust management plans. -Support assessment and evaluation of integration efforts and data by various aircraft platforms for potential impacts of issues that may affect the interoperability of the weapon and delivery systems, and for compliance with interface requirements and nuclear certification criteria for the air delivered nuclear weapons programs. -Manage ancillary equipment requirements, ensuing production and collaboration with the weapon storage facility program for warhead and ancillary equipment considerations and keep abreast of the nuclear certification programs of the interrelated projects (i.e., delivery system, platform, weapon storage facilities).

-Demonstrated ability to maintain high standards of integrity, even under pressure. -Requirements management, testing/ integration, compatibility certification and weapon qualification. -An active TS/SCI clearance is required to be considered for this job, which is something only a U.S. citizen can obtain. -Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-20% -8 + years of related experience and a bachelor’s degree in a science or technical field, or 4 + years of related experience with a master’s degree in a science or technical field. -Developmental Test and Evaluation (DT&E) and/or Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E) experience (with nuclear platforms/payloads preferred). -Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels, including a matrixed environment. -Ability to multi-task and prioritize activities by levels of importance and suspense dates. -Able to work in a secure, confined location. -Demonstrate proficiency in fighter (USAF and non-US NATO) and bomber aircraft systems and the interoperability and integration of System 1 and System 2 communication protocols with nuclear weapon systems. -Familiarity with aircraft engineering systems (i.e., electrical, mechanical, logical) and standard operations, as well as detailed knowledge of MIL-STD-1553 and MIL-STD-1760 communication architecture and nuclear weapon integration.
