Tasks

-Confirm product design performance, capability and reliability in the engineering product test laboratories -Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development -Support product testing and validation activities, analyze test results and implement design improvements -Execute tests for systems, sub-systems, and components. Analyze test results in relation to design or rated specifications and test objectives. -Conduct thermal analysis and simulations to evaluate system performance under various operating conditions and environments -Work cross functionally with service and operations teams to effectively launch designs into production -Support design and development of chiller systems, i.e., component selection, system integration, and performance optimization -Develop chiller system architecture that meets or exceeds the product development requirements -Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in thermal systems engineering -Collaborate with the product marketing teams locally to develop product requirements and ensure that the product meets their needs when launched -Produce parts, specifications, designs, or sketches for machines, components, systems or work orders / purchase requests -Follow all appropriate design, safety, and qualification standards in development programs. -Collaborate with internal stakeholders, i.e., product management, engineering, and manufacturing, to define project requirements and deliver innovative solutions -Work toward commonality and optimization of product & components to reduce design errors and escapes.
