Overview
Develop and verify spacecraft software, including coding, testing, and documentation.

Tasks
-Develop software code for modules / systems and / or ground software testing and verification tools. -Analyze the performance of software functions and interfaces and conduct integration or verification testing. -Document functions and use cases including software requirements. -Use integrated simulation environment to validate software function and interfaces. -Develop unit and interface verification tests. -Document system interfaces and related Interface Control Documents (ICDs).

-Excellent collaboration, communication, negotiation, and coordination skills -Proficiency in Python, C, C++ programming -Experience in TCP/IP Network Communications CCSDS Packet Protocols -Experience with CCSDS / Telemetry Systems -Experience with web-based collaboration tools -Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation. -Experience with Agile software development methodologies and process -Experience with collaboration tools such as: -Experience with event and data-driven architecture -Quick learner and self-motivated. -Microsoft SharePoint and Teams -Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision. -Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency maybe a requirement for this position. -Highly responsible and team-oriented with a strong work ethic. -Strong customer service attitude -Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a closely related field and a minimum of two (2) years of experience in the field or in a related area. -Familiarity with configuration management tools -Strong coordination and organizational and time management skills. -Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited school and five (5) years of related engineering experience, or Master’s degree in engineering from an accredited school and four (4) years of related experience, or Ph.D. in engineering from an accredited school and zero (0) years of related experience
