Tasks

-Taking responsibility for releases and contributing to the ongoing support of live apps -Delivering fair outcomes for our customers, ensuring conduct maintains a high level of professionalism -Looking beyond pure programming, get involved with the deployment and operation of the software we build (DevOps) -Ensuring code quality and governance -Ensuring engineers follow any patterns/designs set out and agreed with project leads -Planning, estimating, and contributing to the architecture, coding, and development -Refactoring and continuous improvements of the codebases -Proactive collaboration in the project team to help develop the product using your experience to help guide the team through the entire development lifecycle -Ensuring that technical decisions and information are communicated thoroughly to the global team

What You Bring

-Experience with using and/or configuring CI/CD pipelines. -Experience with SQL and NoSQL (2+ years) -Strong interpersonal and communication skills -Experience building scalable software services (e.g., serverless, microservices) -Experience with scripting languages -Knowledge of design principles, patterns, and best practices. -Strong English skills (written and verbal) -Superb experience with AWS development (Lambda, EC2, S3, SNS, SQS, IAM) -Strong OOD skills -Strong experience with Java and Spring (6+ years) -Experience working directly with clients and other project stakeholders to define and refine requirements.
