Tasks

-Build strong relationships with decision-makers and influencers across construction, building, and bridge markets. -Consistently achieve or exceed assigned revenue and business development targets. -Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations, bids, and RFP responses. -Established network with contractors, general contractors, and EPC firms involved in capital projects. -Pursue key accounts including, but not limited to, the following: LADWP, LAX, LA Metro, Port of Long Beach, SoFi Stadium/Hollywood Park, and state/regional bridge authorities. -Partner with internal operations, engineering, and marketing teams to deliver client-focused proposals and solutions. -Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive growth across California’s infrastructure sector. -Promote Mistras’ comprehensive service portfolio, including non-destructive testing, structural health monitoring, acoustic emission, inspection, and engineering services. -Track industry trends, competitive intelligence, and customer needs to inform business strategy. -Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities with general contractors, EPCs, engineering firms, and public/private owners. -Represent Mistras at infrastructure-related industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or related field. -Strong knowledge of new construction, buildings, bridges, and related infrastructure projects. -Ability to work independently, while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams. -Existing contacts with California-based infrastructure accounts (e.g., LADWP, LAX, LA Metro, Port of Long Beach, SoFi Stadium/Hollywood Park, bridge authorities). -Proven ability to win new business and deliver revenue growth. -Familiarity with NDT, structural monitoring, or asset protection services. -Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. -Direct sales experience with technical services such as inspection, testing, monitoring, or engineering. -5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within construction, infrastructure, or engineering markets.
