Overview

Set up, operate, and troubleshoot plastic injection molding machines on 2nd shift.

Tasks

-Set up and start up molding machines and check products to ensure quality standards are met. -Verify that all mold, auxiliary equipment, materials, and injection molding machines are set-up per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Visual Operating Procedures (VOP) instructions to meet quality standards and production goals. -Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot processing problems, perform preventative maintenance tasks, and document process changes. -Operate machines and package finished products when needed. -Operate forklifts, hoists, and hand tools in a safe and efficient manner while handling production material.

What You Bring

-At least 5 years of experience in plastics processing -Demonstrate support through interactions with solid communication skills, attitude, dedication, commitment, respect, pride, and trust. -High School Diploma or GED preferred -Capability to lift items up to 40 pounds -Prior experience as a Processing Technician or equivalent preferred -Working knowledge of mold changes, hydraulics, electrical and injection molding equipment -Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting using root cause analysis
