Perform electrical grid studies for offshore wind farms using simulation tools.

Tasks
-Modeling of Offshore Wind Farms; these models will be used to perform steady state, dynamic, transient and frequency domain simulations using PSS/E or PowerFactory. -Perform Transient simulations (EMT) to evaluate compliance to requirements such as Inrush current, fast transients, voltage stability, frequency stability, other simulations in the transient domain and Create scripts to automate the above-described simulations. -Support Grid Engineering Managers to communicate and defend the results and conclusions written in the studies reports. -Perform Steady State simulations to evaluate compliance to requirements related to: Short Circuit, PQ capability, Voltage limits, overloading of equipment, other simulations in the steady state domain. -Write reports where the input data, results and conclusions of the above simulations will be clearly described. -Load Flow Analysis -Support Grid Engineering Managers to prepare the studied's scope of work; which will include the planning of Input data, timeline, description of studies execution and how the results will be presented. -Perform Transient simulations (EMT) using PSCAD to evaluate compliance to requirements such as Inrush current, fast transients, voltage stability, frequency stability, other simulations in the transient domain. -Frequency domain analysis -Perform Dynamic simulations (RMS) to evaluate compliance to requirements such as FRT, voltage stability, frequency stability, other simulations in the dynamic domain.

What You Bring
-Master’s degree in electrical power engineering or equivalent experience, preferably combined with experience in performing Compose and/or Grid compliance studies. -Dynamic Stability -Your background includes carrying out multiple types of electrical studies such as: -Simulation tools - PSSE, PSCAD and Power factory; Matlab/Simulink -Harmonic Studies
