As part of American Engineering, individuals will play a critical role within the design teams, creating solutions for projects within the Land Development and / or Water Resources sectors. A successful candidate will be responsible for creating the design and development of a variety of civil engineering and land planning projects to track for Project Management.

American Engineering is actively seeking Civil Engineers specialized in Land Development in our Raleigh, NC office who are eager to be part of a growing engineering firm. -A bachelor's degree in civil engineering. -PE preferred (or can obtain shortly after starting). -Strong working knowledge in Civil drafting – road plans, commercial site plans, and residential subdivisions. -Ability to communicate effectively both written and spoken. -Comfortable working on-site in an office setting. -Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience with AutoCAD and CAD / Civil 3D. -Willing to relocate or commute to Raleigh. -Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. -Experience with grading, drainage and stormwater management design, and erosion and sediment control a PLUS. -Strong attention to detail.
