Tasks

-Establish strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholder groups and individuals throughout the company. -Analyze electric load drivers such as datacenters, electric vehicles, rooftop solar, Demand Side Management (DSM), Energy Efficiency (EE), and electrification. -Support business & data analytics-related activities, such as Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) analytics. -Develop statistical models to build or improve forecasting for components including DER. -Assist in the development of the company’s annual load study. -Develop a detailed understanding of, as well as participate in advancement of company’s forecasts and methodologies, including statistical end-use models and exogenous models such as building & transportation electrification, distributed energy resources (DER) and data centers. -Maintain, enhance, and develop analytic tools, data processes and methods to analyze and present load research and forecast results.

What You Bring

-Strong mathematical and statistical capabilities. -Extensive experience with Microsoft Excel. -Working knowledge of relational database concepts and SQL. -Demonstrated ability to both think analytically and solve complex problems. -Strong data science and extract/transform/load (ETL) skills, e.g., importing, cleaning, transforming, modeling, and visualizing data. -Knowledge of utility econometric forecasting. -Experience working with electric smart meter/AMI data. -Experience with forecasting and statistical analysis. -Basic familiarity with electrical power system concepts. -Understand and incorporate as necessary internal drivers/initiatives and externalities in the strategic planning process across all DE businesses. -Proficiency in one or more of the following languages: R, Python, and/or SAS. -Ability to process information quickly and effectively, and manage multiple tasks.
