The Role

Tasks

-Schedule and confirm travel itineraries, including air, rental car, hotel, and event registrations -Produce PowerPoint presentations by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data, and graphics -Support the company's compliance efforts by researching and understanding relevant regulations and laws -Assist with litigation matters, including gathering evidence and preparing discovery responses and arbitration filings -Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, fax machine, copy machine, and computer printer -Schedule and manage meetings for team events -Prepare presentations/spreadsheets -Maintain filing systems regarding client-specific communications or documentation -Serve as liaison between our offices, franchisees, vendors, and team -Perform research/analytics and reports on industry-specific topics as requested -Claims tracking and quarterly updates -Work with Legal and Operations team members to maintain franchise standards -Maintain a high level of confidentiality -Field telephone calls and e-mail directed to the CAO/GC for team follow-up -Assist with the preparation, review, and management of contracts, including drafting, negotiation, and execution -Performing administrative tasks, such as managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and preparing correspondence -Conduct legal research, analyze case law, statutes, and regulations relevant to the company's operations -Draft simple routine legal documents for review by attorneys -Organize, manage, and maintain legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and discovery materials -Manage and generate monthly reports

What You Bring

-Ability to follow our company's Vision, Values, Mission, and 10 serving basics -Excellent communication skills (written and oral) -Must be able to observe and perceive information on a computer and documents -Ability to learn the legal, compliance, and operations within our organization -Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle -Must be able to communicate and converse with customers over the phone -Ability to lead projects and give guidance to team members to complete projects -Spanish or French language skills are a plus but not required -Ability to work under specific time deadlines -Knowledge of Legal, Compliance, and Operations -Must be able to stay in a stationary position up to 100% of the time -The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. -Priority management skills -Stress management and composure -Knowledge of laws pertaining to record keeping -Occasionally will lift up to 10lbs
