NETA II / III / IV Commercial Industrial Technician

Overview

Electrical testing & commissioning for commercial/industrial, especially data centers.

Tasks

-Perform acceptance and maintenance testing on electrical power systems including switchgear, transformers, circuit breakers, protective relays, and related equipment. -Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. -Document test results and prepare detailed reports in compliance with NETA standards. -Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues using advanced testing equipment and methodologies. -Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and company protocols. -Conduct commissioning activities for new and upgraded electrical systems, particularly in mission-critical data center environments. -Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure successful project execution.

-Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. -Ability to travel and work flexible hours as needed. -Unless otherwise noted, we do not sponsor employees for work authorization in the U.S. for this position. -Familiarity with SCADA, BMS, and other monitoring systems. -Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous learning. -Experience in data center electrical systems is highly preferred. -Strong knowledge of ANSI/NETA standards, NFPA 70E, and OSHA regulations. -Experience with high-voltage systems and critical power infrastructure. -Active NETA Level II, III, or IV Certification (required). -All job offers are subject to pre-employment drug screening and a background check. -Minimum 2+ years of experience in electrical testing and commissioning. -Excellent communication and documentation skills. -Proficiency with test equipment such as Doble, Megger, Omicron, and Fluke.
