Regional Accounting Lead

Overview

Manage AP/AR, vendor/customer accounts, and financial reporting for regional branches.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Reconcile vendor statements. -Manage customer aging reports and customer rejection lists. -Monitor that vendor invoices are processed timely at the branch level. -Verify customer credit references. -Support local branches as needed when they are coding vendor invoices. -Oversee new customer setup. -Initiate and manage lien process as required. -Guarantee that net term requirements are met and that discount terms are met when such terms are made available by vendors. -Review prime contracts during customer setup and identify contract language related to rentals and sales, including fair market value rules. -Review and approve corporate purchasing card transactions and receipts. -Collect resale certifications and customer tax exemption forms. -Verify that checks are being cut timely by the AP department. -Generate vendor contracts and change orders as well as customer quotes.

What You Bring

-Positive interpersonal skills and strong work ethic. -Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. -Detailed oriented and well organized with attention to detail. -Ability to work in both a team environment and independently. -Must be able to lift 15 pounds if needed. -3-5 years of accounting experience (AP or AR) preferred. -Construction or industry related experience a plus. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). -Effective time management and multitasking in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. -Knowledge of Sales tax and construction project contract language preferred. -Experience with Coupa and RentalMan software preferred. -Excellent communication skills.
