Tasks

-Develop, implement & maintain EHS procedures in accordance with federal, state, and local requirements. -Facilitate and support EHS hazard identification and risk assessments. -Prepare management dashboards, trend analysis, and continuous improvement plans -Monitor daily site conditions; perform safety rounds, audits, inspections, and hazard assessments. -Review process changes / new equipment from an EHS standpoint (Management of Change) -Support projects involving environmental site assessment & site investigation. -Lead incident investigations, root‐cause analysis, corrective and preventive action (CAPA). -Identify EHS training needs leading to the development & coordination of safety-training programs. -Work closely with production, maintenance, quality, HR, and operations to embed EHS into daily workflows -Managing the Internal and external EHS Audit Programs, conducting Health & Safety inspections, audits, and surveys/ assessments. -Establish, monitor, and report on EHS metrics (e.g. TRIR, DART, near misses, safety observations) -Support equipment safety (lockout/tagout, machine guarding, confined space entries). -Mentor and supervise EHS staff -Assists in compliance reviews, general risk assessments, and other safety assessments with the determination of effective controls and risk mitigation in support of Environmental, Health, and Safety management. -Oversee contractor safety, including prequalification, orientation, and monitoring.

What You Bring

-Bachelors Degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) -Strong knowledge of OSHA (29 CFR 1910), EPA, state regulations, and industry best practices -Strong sense of responsibility, highly motivated, forward thinking, and servant leadership. -Knowledge of ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety management system practices and developing, ISO 14001:2015 Environmental management System and ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management. -Minimum 5 years of experience progressively in an EHS-related field, preferably with administrative and supervisory responsibility. -Good communication and teamwork skills, good problem-solving skills. -Manufacturing experience is a plus.
