Tasks
Reporting to the Planning Team Leader, you will be responsible for coordinating production workflow across all areas of the business, ensuring operations run smoothly and efficiently from start to finish. Using system data and ERP tools, you will plan, monitor, and adjust schedules to minimise delays while maintaining optimal stock levels and supporting customer delivery performance. -Prioritise and manage production plans to maximise efficiency and minimise downtime. -Liaise with Customer Services to identify potential delivery risks and propose practical solutions. -Maintain stock levels within agreed service and financial parameters. -Use ERP and planning systems to coordinate production workflow across all business areas. -Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement. -Work closely with the Team Leader to implement short-term corrective actions and long-term improvement initiatives. -Monitor and maintain accurate system data to ensure reliable scheduling and forecasting. -Actively contribute to continuous improvement projects and business process enhancements. -Coordinate with external supply teams to ensure material availability aligns with production and customer requirements. -Collaborate with Quality Control to prioritise incoming goods inspection in line with production needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced planner to play a key role in optimising production flow, driving efficiency, and ensuring customer delivery targets are achieved in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. -Strong understanding of ERP systems, MRP, and supply chain planning processes. -Previous experience in a production planning role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. -Technically minded, proactive, and comfortable working to tight deadlines. -Excellent analytical and organisational skills with high attention to detail. -Confident communicator able to work effectively across multiple departments.
