The Role
Overview
Create and modify CAD drawings for bridge, roadway, and aviation projects.
Key Responsibilities

Tasks
-Working closely with colleagues to understand and ensure compliance of drafting standards. -Modifying and revising existing drawings based on feedback from engineers, project managers or other team members. -Preparing and exporting drawings and models in various formats for project submissions. -Utilizing CAD software to create and prepare technical drawings for our bridge, roadway and aviation projects that best represent project requirements from concept to detailed design to record. -Organizing and managing a variety of CAD files, ensuring that drawings and models are accessible to other team members.

What You Bring
-Strong written and verbal communication abilities. -Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills. -Experience with Revit, Sketchup or other 3D modelling software is an asset. -Registered, or eligible or registration with ASET. -A diploma in civil engineering, or engineering design and drafting, from an accredited technical institution. -Proficient in the use of AutoCAD and Civil 3D. -Experience with Alberta Transportation Engineering drafting guidelines for highway and bridge projects is an asset -Committed team player and the ability to work independently. -8+ years of experience in bridge design and drafting (steel, concrete, timber structures).
