Tasks

-Collaborate with internal and external project managers, site teams, procurement, and finance to ensure accurate project accounting. -Develop, monitor, and update project budgets, forecasts, and cost estimates. -Review and track contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders for financial impact, ensuring all changes are properly reviewed and approved. -Identify potential cost overruns, delays, or risks and develop mitigation strategies. -Manage client interface and proactively address issues to ensure full client satisfaction. -Ensure adherence to company policies, contractual obligations, and relevant industry regulations. -Track expenditures against budget, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions. -Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual cash flow projections based on project progress and commitments. -Prepare and present project deliverables, including cost reports, schedules, change order logs, and closeout documentation. -Generate accurate and timely financial and progress reports for internal stakeholders and clients. -Maintain detailed project cost data to support data-driven decision-making.

What You Bring

Currie & Brown is seeking an experienced Construction Project Controller. The successful candidate is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and controlling the financial and operational performance of data center construction projects. This role ensures projects remain within budget, supports forecasting and reporting, and provides decision-making insights to project management and leadership teams. Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, quantity surveying or a related field with a minimum of 7 years of experience within the data center construction industry. -Familiarity with construction contracts, change management, and procurement processes. -Experience working on large-scale projects in sectors such as semiconductor, data center, or high-tech preferred. -Proven experience managing budgets, analyzing variances, and developing cost reports for complex construction projects. -Ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders. -Strong understanding of project cost control processes, forecasting, and earned value principles. -Excellent analytical and numerical skills with strong attention to detail. -Proficiency in cost management and reporting tools such as Excel, Power BI and Primavera, -Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
