Junior BIM Coordinator (Civil 3D Specialist)

Tasks

-Develop and maintain BIM Civil 3D libraries, continually advancing the platforms’ efficiency and utilization -Support the Project Delivery Design Team(s) in day-to-day BIM implementation activities. -Record, store and maintain all formal correspondences related to BIM activities. -Supervise the BIM modelers, collaborate and coordinate with the Design Team design-changes and model challenges. -Provide progress and performance updates on fortnightly and monthly basis. -Support the deployment (hardware and software items) and provide hands-on BIM software training for Project team members. -Ensure Project Information Model (PIM) are delivered in accordance with the agreed TIDP, MIDP and CDE protocol. -Measure and ensure the highest quality for all BIM package submissions in accordance with Project standards and requirements. -Develop and extract 2D geometry from the models for internal reviews and coordination meetings.

What You Bring

-Middle East/Gulf Countries experience preferred but not essential -In-depth working knowledge of current Autodesk products such as but not limited to AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ACC and Revit. -Experience with BIM instruction and trainings. -Minimum 3 years of demonstrable experience of BIM design production experience in a multi-disciplinary environment, preferably wet and dry utilities projects. -Computer skills and the ability to utilize design software are mandatory. -Experience in consultant and infrastructure projects preferred. -Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken, with good capability in oral and written communication skills. -Proficient in a range of BIM authoring, scripting, design review, coordination, simulations, and collaboration applications and/or platforms e.g. Civil 3D, Open Buildings Designer, Dynamo, Revit, Grasshopper, Navisworks. -A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
