Tasks

The Strategic Sourcing Specialist is responsible for analyzing data and implementing sourcing strategies that optimize procurement processes, drive cost efficiencies, and support the overall procurement needs of the organization. This role collaborates across departments to analyze existing data, market trends, manage supplier relationships, and ensure compliance with corporate policies and sustainability initiatives. -Communicate and ensure internal stakeholders are aware of contracts to improve managed spend. -Negotiate pricing, contracts and capacity to secure long-term cost and availability advantages. -Monitor internal contract compliance and supplier KPIs to improve cost, lead time and supplier quality performance. -Execute multi-tiered sourcing strategies that mitigate risks, ensure business continuity and leverage supplier partnerships across the US and Canada

What You Bring

-Understanding of indirect spend such as travel, computers, cellphones, transportation and contingent labor programs. Experience in supplier management and /or strategic procurement -Proven ability to work in complex environments and manage complex supplier networks; Strong interpersonal skill and communication skills -Ability to analyze data and identify areas to focus using tools such as Excel, PowerBI, etc.; Familiarity with SAP and or Arriba a plus -Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Engineering or related discipline -3 or more years of sourcing or procurement work experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment -Ability to purchase Company stock -Ability to travel 20-30% -Demonstrated results in cost reduction and supplier consolidation and
