Tasks

The Head of Design will lead the architectural and structural design teams, ensuring the seamless execution of high-rise projects from concept to completion. The role demands expertise in designing supertall structures, understanding regulatory frameworks, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve world-class design and engineering solutions. -Collaborate with structural engineers to develop innovative, safe, and cost-effective building designs. -Work closely with project management, construction, and sales teams to ensure design feasibility and implementation. -Oversee the conceptualization and design of high-rise residential and commercial projects. -Train and mentor junior architects and engineers, ensuring knowledge sharing and skill development. -Research and integrate global best practices in high-rise construction, sustainable design, and smart building technologies. -Conduct regular site visits to oversee design implementation and resolve construction-related design challenges. -Engage with consultants, contractors, and vendors to align design objectives with construction execution. -Review and approve architectural drawings, structural plans, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) layouts. -Handle compliance with fire safety, wind tunnel testing, seismic design, and sustainability benchmarks. -Lead a team of architects, designers, and consultants, fostering innovation and collaboration. -Liaise with government bodies, municipal authorities, and consultants to secure necessary approvals. -Ensure compliance with local regulations (DCPR, RERA, NBC) and global standards in high-rise construction. -Develop and implement design strategies aligned with the company’s vision for high-rise development. -Lead the design process from feasibility studies to final execution, ensuring high architectural and structural integrity. -Represent the company in design presentations, client meetings, and industry events. -Ensure adherence to safety codes, environmental norms, and building regulations specific to high-rise construction.

What You Bring

Experience: 20+ years -Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. -Industry Exposure: Experience working with top-tier developers, design consultants, and international architects is preferred. -Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of architectural design, structural engineering principles, façade engineering, MEP coordination, and high-rise construction methodologies. -Ability to drive innovation in design and construction methodologies. -Experience: 20+ years in high-rise building design, with a focus on residential and commercial towers above 50 storeys. -Education: Bachelor's/Master’s in Architecture (B.Arch/M.Arch) or Civil Engineering (B.E/B.Tech – Civil) from a reputed institute. -Software Proficiency: AutoCAD, Revit, BIM (Building Information Modeling), ETABS, SAFE, and other relevant design tools. -Strong leadership and decision-making abilities. -Regulatory Knowledge: Well-versed with Mumbai building codes, environmental norms, fire safety regulations, and high-rise approval processes.
